September the 6th of 2010, we find ourselves on Edinburgh, the capital city of Scotland, where a guide was already waiting for us in order to join us in all of our stay in the country. This first day, she gave us a quick tour around the new city, explaining a bit about the infrastructure of the place.
At midday we stayed at Princess Street, the commercial part of the city, where we had time to eat and to do some shopping. We kept walking around the city later, ending a beautiful day with, rarely, a nice weather.
We ended up in our hostel, the Syha Edinburgh Central, where we could exchange some words with other travelers from all around the world.
September 7th, the day started rainy when we were going out to Edinburgh’s Castle. We loved the experience anyway, so the weather didn’t quite change anything. We had lunch at Princess Street again, and after changing clothes in our hostel, we went to the St. George’s School, where we would play football, the boys, and hockey the girls, against this school team.
Our football team won with a difference of 2 goals to 0, while the girls sadly lost. However, the two teams gave everything breath to represent their country.
The 8th was our last day in the city. Luckily, the weather was fine, and helped us to have a pleasant day. The day started with a different guide now, a local one, who took us around the city and explained us important things about its history. After this experience, we had free time to have lunch, and we finished our day walking down the Royal Mile to Holyrood Palace. On the next day, we were departing early in the morning to Durham.
